Nuria Rial - Soprano
A real recording phenomenon, Mrs. Rial is one of the most sought-after sopranos in the Baroque scene. Her future projects include: Dido and Aeneas, L’Allegro il Penseroso e il Moderato and Die Frau ohne Schatten at the Teatro Real de Madrid; Messiah with Kammerorchester Basel on a European tour; Bach cantatas for the Wort & Klang Festival in Trogen; Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater in Lausanne; Vivaldi’s Gloria in Vézelay under Pierre Cao; a concert with Concerto Köln at the Dresden Frauenkirche; concerts with Elbipolis and Rolf Beck at the Schleswig-Holstein Musikfestspiele; a concert in Budapest with music by Widor and Vierne; a European concert tour with L’Arpeggiata (new program: Mediterraneo); concerts with music by Marianna Martines with La Floridiana in Luxemburg and Barcelona.
Ketevan Kemoklidze - mezzo
In high demand by major theaters of the world for her extraordinary vocal and stage skills, Georgian mezzo-soprano Ketevan Kemoklidze has just gained great success as Angelina in La Cenerentola at the Los Angeles Opera. In the next future she will perform Maddalena in Rigoletto on tour in Japan with the Teatro alla Scala, Preziosilla in La Forza del Destino at the Teatro Regio in Turin, in Washington and at the New National Theatre in Tokyo, where she will also sing the title role in Carmen.
Riccardo Zanellato - Bass
Mr. Zanellato has just performed as Banco in Macbeth at the opening night of the current season at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Roberto Abbado conducting and Bob Wilson directing . Among his most recent engagements: Verdi’s Requiem in Portorico, in Cagliari, in Moscow at the Rostropovich Festival on tour with the Teatro Comunale of Bologna and in Barcelona. Mr. Zanellato future plans include: Un Ballo in Maschera in Rome, Antonio Pappano conducting; Nabucco under the baton of Riccardo Muti at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome and at the Ravenna Festival and then in Stuttgart; La Juive in Vilnius; Simon Boccanegra at the Opéra de Lyon; Norma at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées in Paris. On the concert side, Riccardo Zanellato will sing Verdi’s Requiem in Cincinnati, in St. Louis and in Vilnius.
Rani Calderon - conductor
The young Israeli conductor has gained international acclaim both in operatic and symphonic repertoire performing in the dual capacity of conductor and pianist. Among his successful engagements it is worth mentioning: Andrea Chénier at the Opéra de Montecarlo; Gounod’s Faust in Bilbao and Dresden; Euryanthe and Oberon at the Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse; Aida and Eugene Onegin at the Théâtre Municipal d’Avignon; Simon Boccanegra in Strasbourg and Mulhouse; Der Fliegende Hollaender in Warsaw; Puccini’s Il Trittico at the Theater an der Wien in Vienna; Rossini’s Semiramide in Copenhagen; Rigoletto in Dresden and symphonic concerts in Bari and with the Orchestra dei Pomeriggi Musicali in Milan. Future plans include: Turandot in Nancy, Ariadne auf Naxos in Toulon, Bohème and Carmen in Dresden. He has served as music director of the Orquesta Filarmónica de Santiago de Chile and of the Teatro Municipal de Santiago de Chile.
